NLPOA members attended to the U and T Visa training hosted by the MPD
The NLPOA would like to thank Lieutenant Veliz from the Minneapolis Police Department, for opening the invitation to our members. The U and T Visa Programs help crime victims receive important police services, regardless of their immigration status. Today, the MPD gave Minnesota law enforcement agencies information on the programs. The two instructors were Investigator Michael LaRiviere from the Salem Police Department and Rocio Molina who is the Associate Director for National Immigrant Women's Advocacy Project at American University's Washington College.
